For many years I have always struggled with back pain getting worse every year. It eventually got to the point where I was losing feeling in my legs.
In 2014 it got to the point where I had to give up all my sports and exercising. I couldn’t run without feeling extreme pain in my lower back. Wasn’t able to walk for more than 5min without having to stop and stretch. The pain got so bad that I wasn’t even able to stand for longer than a couple of minutes without having to sit down. The pain in my back started affecting my work. Sometimes while walking my legs would just give in and I would fall over. Then the worst thing happened, I was unable to play with my kids, pick them up or just enjoy playing games in the garden. I started feeling angry, depressed and frustrated. It felt like there was no light at the end of the tunnel.
After Mr Kasis performed the procedure of spondylolisthesis L4/5 anterior and posterior fusion I am happy to say I am on my way to a full recovery. After a month of the operation I was able to go for much longer walks without any leg numbness or back pains. To put it in perspective I walk around lake Buttermere without having to rest, bend over or stretch. After 4 months of recovering I was cleared by Mr Kasis and he was happy for me to start playing sports again.
This procedure done by Dr Kasis has given me my life back as I am now able to enjoy the activities with my family that I thought was never going to be possible. I can’t thank Mr Kasis enough and I would recommend this procedure to anyone that is struggling with a similar problem.
