Mr Ata Kasis, Mr Cyrus Jensen and Mr Matthew Mawdsley are fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeons, who specialise in the treatment of adult spinal disorders from the neck down to the coccyx. They practice in Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (Wansbeck General Hospital, Hexham General Hospital, North Tyneside General Hospital and Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington) and the Nuffield Hospital in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne.

We treat NHS patients as well as self-funded private patients. We are also happy to see and treat privately insured patients and are recognised by BUPA, AXA/PPP, AVIVA, Vitality and Healix.
